Perbedaan paling kentara bisa ditebak dari namanya, tentu saja kunci kontaknya.

Menggantikan kenop kontak di versi keyless, di versi SKS rumah kunci kontaknya menggunakan kontak dengan tutup magnet.

Rumah kunci kontak GSX-R150 versi terbaru ini mirip dengan GSX-S150. Meski rumah kuncinya mirip, ada perbedaan di anak kuncinya dengan GSX-S150.

Selain itu, harganya varian SKS ini menjadi lebih murah dibanding varian keyless.
